I am starting this blog to share my experiences with weight loss and healthy eating. I started my weight loss journey in January of 2009 at a weight of 213 pounds. Since then, I have lost 50 pounds and have been able to maintain this healthy weight through dedication and hard work. I am going to include many things in this blog, including my bi-weekly menus and grocery lists, my weekly strategies for cooking and eating healthy, portion control tips, recipes, and much more.
